Dave Pryor has been an avid sailor since he was six years old. He has taught many boating courses and
has competitively sailed in local and long distance yacht races. Dave is a licensed clinical psychologist
and also is a psychoanalyst. He is an outstanding listener and teacher who can help people communicate
well and work together as a team.
Carolyn Pryor has been sailing with Dave for 40 years. She is a certified instructor with the American
Sailing Association and a marine educator. Carolyn has skippered and crewed with all-women’s teams.
She was formerly a social work professor and currently works part time as a lecturer and clinical social
worker. She can help people of all ages feel comfortable on the boat.

Priority Sailing has programs to help all ages enjoy the thrill of sailing on lovely boats in a beautiful locale. We are based in the picturesque and Historic town of Southport, North Carolina. Here the Cape Fear River
bends between the Southport shoreline and Battery Island and then opens out into the Atlantic Ocean between Bald Head Island and Oak Island. This is our gateway to the world.
